The World Dog Show 2027

Dear friends and dog lovers from around the world,

it is a great honour for Austria and the Austrian Kennel Club (ÖKV) to welcome the international dog community to the World Dog Show 2027 in Tulln.

The World Dog Show is so much more than a competition. It is passion, celebration and meeting place for the international dog community. It is a place where friendships are renewed, new connections are made and people from different countries come together through their shared passion for dogs. Above all, the World Dog Show is an international forum for healthy dogs and responsible breeding. It is a platform for breeders, dog owners, veterinary medicine, science and cynological organisations to exchange knowledge, learn from one another and work together for the health, functionality and diversity of our breeds.

The health of our dogs is a shared responsibility. Responsible breeding is based on scientific knowledge and high and decade long expertise. Responsible breeding must never come at the expense of a dog’s health and well being. As a strong member of the international canine community, we all have a role to play in continuously improving the health of our dogs and our breeds. As one of the founding nations of the FCI and a country with a long cynological tradition, Austria is proud to host this unique international event. We see it as an opportunity not only to bring the global dog community together, but also to contribute to the future of responsible breeding based on science, experience, cooperation and our shared commitment to healthy dogs.

We look forward to welcoming breeders, judges, dog owners and dog lovers from around the world to Tulln for unforgettable days of international exchange, friendship, competition and, above all, the joy of life with dogs.
